The research "Quick-Wee or conventional method for urine collection in pediatric patients with suspected urinary infection" aimed to identify the most appropriate technique between the Quick-Wee or conventional method for urine collection in pediatric patients with suspected urinary infection. Secondary research developed under the Evidence-Based Nursing methodology. The clinical question was formulated: Which is the most appropriate technique between the Queek-Wee or conventional method for urine collection in pediatric patients with suspected urinary tract infection? The search period was between August and October 2022. Within the search criteria, a maximum of 5 years old was considered, without language restriction using the VHL, Scielo, Pubmed, Dialnet and Google Scholar databases. 10 investigations that passed the validity filter by Gálvez Toro were selected, leaving only 3 studies to be reviewed. Finally, the research that will be subject to criticism is entitled "Faster clean capture urine collection (Quick-Wee method) from babies: randomized controlled trial." For the critical analysis, the CONSORT guide was used. The answer was that the suprapubic stimulation method or Quick-Wee method turns out to be the best technique for the extraction of a urine sample in the pediatric patient, given its easy application, it can be executed by health personnel or by the family, since it does not require high specialization or high cost inputs, in addition there were no significant contamination rates of the sample compared to other techniques.
