This research seeks to establish the traffic study for the design of the improvement of the neighborhood road in the Ocuviri district, Lampa province, Puno; taking into account the need of the population to improve their roads, the research establishes the study of traffic, this arises from the need to propose the design for the improvement of the neighborhood road and to have an efficient service of pedestrian passability service and vehicular. The importance of this traffic study research for this project lies in the improvement of the roads of the Ocuviri district, benefiting the population and contributing to the improvements in social life, improvement in the economic development of the population and generating a link between towns and improvements in intercommunication with towns. The main problem must be solved considering in principle the traffic study for the proposal of the present design, that is why this work is important. With the present research, presenting the traffic study for the design of the improvement of the neighborhood roads of the Ocuviri district, projects of this nature are efficiently attended to after the need for the social and family development of the towns. Appropriate, reliable and valid techniques and instruments for data collection are used for the present investigation. As a result, an average daily traffic of 24 vehicles per day was obtained, among other data
