Results-oriented management systems are generally based on three points: the first is to give greater flexibility to those responsible for public administrative authorities in their administration; The second is accountability, which consists in evaluating the performance of these agencies based on indicators of their effectiveness and efficiency in the provision of services to citizens. and the third is the establishment of an incentive system that somehow rewards or punishes management based on the evaluation of results. The underlying assumption of this management scheme is that the combination of these three guidelines should create a better identification between the manager and the management organization, while increasing their administrative capacity to improve the impact of their management and, therefore, the motivation of public sector employees. In order to demonstrate that there is a relationship between management by results and motivation, the quantitative method was used with a use of the correlational descriptive design, after applying the statistic to the sample made up of 57 workers of the CONECTAMEF of the Center Macroregion. A ratio of 0.856 was obtained with which it can be affirmed if the management by results improves the motivation improved in the workers of the institution in which the study
