The purpose of the research is to demonstrate the impact of implementing the controls of ISO / IEC 27002: 2013, favoring the management of the database of Public Registries in Zone VII - Huaraz Headquarters, 2019, through a quantitative approach , based on statistical results, experimental design - pre experimental, because only the dependent variable is manipulated and observations are made through instruments, on the other hand it is of longitudinal temporal scope, because the instrument was applied in two moments, this it is before the implementation of the data network (pretest) and another one after the implementation of the data network (posttest), likewise, we worked with a census population made up of 12 workers, the technique used was the survey and the instrument a questionnaire for the variable information management, with polytomic response options, going through a process of validity and reliability before being applied, in where it was concluded: The affectivity of the controls of ISO / IEC 27002: 2013 on the management of the database of the Public Registries of Zone VII - Huaraz Headquarters, 2019, was demonstrated, obtaining results that at the deficient level was improved in 91.7%, at the regular level its perception was maintained and at the efficient level it was increased by 71.7%, with which the hypothesis is verified affirming that there are significant improvements of the results in the comparison of the pre and post test.
