The present investigation was carried out in the department of Loreto estimating the costs for the coastal defense project with geocontainers. The population that was taken were all the components that were part of the study such as the materials from the area and the suppliers of equipment and machinery, the skilled and unskilled labor. The type of sampling is non-probabilistic and for convenience. The technique of observation was used and as a tool a data record sheet to then compare the information collected and registered statistically by means of the arithmetic mean. The problem is that in many projects a correct evaluation is not made where the appropriate prices are chosen maintaining the quality standards and fair price of the resources. To this end, the prices and unit contributions of each component of the direct cost, such as labor, materials and equipment to be used, have been analyzed using the unit price analysis method. The analysis of the different items that make up the budget for coastal defense with geocontainers was carried out, determining the total estimated cost, which includes the Direct Cost and the Indirect Cost.
