Over the last few years, delivery services have significantly transformed the routine of many Peruvians, especially in the food sector. The COVID-19 pandemic generated an urgent need to implement this modality, as the risks of contagion led many businesses to adapt to ensure the safety of their customers. In 2020, the use of food delivery services experienced a remarkable growth of 250% (RPP Noticias, 2021). At the same time, Peruvian consumers, after a long period of quarantine, have become accustomed to using delivery services to purchase a wide variety of products. In April 2021, it was estimated that there were approximately 580 thousand delivery app users in the country, with an average of 4.6 orders per month per user (IPE, 2021). Despite all the impact of this new modality, there is still a persistent fear in some segments of the population that hinders their participation in online shopping for different reasons. Based on this premise, it was decided to investigate the relationship between the TAM model, attitude and behavioral intention towards food delivery applications in the Lima population over 18 years of age in 2022. To this end, a survey of 250 people was carried out, the results of which showed a relationship between the study variables mentioned above.
