The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between leadership styles and job satisfaction in a country resort company. A non-experimental quantitative study was carried out with a correlational approach, using Spearman's coefficient. Data were collected using the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (Bass and Avolio) and the S20/23 (Meliá and Peiró 1989). The study revealed that transactional leadership was the most predominant, followed by transformational leadership, with laissez-faire leadership being the least common. Employees reported a high level of job satisfaction. The results revealed that transformational and transactional leadership were positively correlated with all dimensions of job satisfaction, implying that motivating and inspiring employees and setting clear expectations and rewarding performance are factors that are linked to job satisfaction. In contrast, laissez-faire leadership showed weaker correlations. It is relevant to note that the connection between leadership and job satisfaction can be influenced by environmental elements. This underlines the importance of adapting leadership styles to the specific needs of each organization.
