This study was carried out in order to describe the most prevalent personality factors in addicts in rehabilitation institutionalized in two therapeutic centers in the northern cone of Lima, 2022. This study has a quantitative approach, depending on the type of descriptive study, non-experimental design, and cross-sectional. The sample was made up of 105 addicts in rehabilitation from two therapeutic centers in the northern cone of Lima between 18 and 60 years old. The BIG FIVE personality questionnaire short version (The Big Five Personality Trait Short Questionnaire, BFPTSQ) was used, which has five dimensions: Openness, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion and Neuroticism. The result was that the most prevalent factor in addicts in rehabilitation institutionalized in two therapeutic centers in the northern cone of Lima, firstly, is responsibility with a frequency of 99 at the high level followed by extraversion, neuroticism, openness and finally, kindness also located at a high level, but less frequently at the same level. In conclusion, all the factors were present, they obtained a high level and aspects such as the age range and phase of institutionalization were not indicators that cause a variation in the levels of the personality factors.
