Our research titled “‘Geometric and structural design on the Virú bridge to Alameda bridge stretch: km 0+000 to km 10+000, province of Virú. 'focuses on carrying out a pavement design using the methods and guidelines provided by the AASHTO Manual 93 for the design of pavement structures, which was essential to achieve the objective of the thesis. The area under investigation is the motorable trail that connects the Virú Bridge with the La Alameda Bridge located in the province of Virú. This motorable trail is without due maintenance. This thesis aims to solve the problem faced by road traffic. In order to achieve this objective, flexible, rigid and semi-rigid pavement designs will be developed using the AASHTO 93 method and considering the geometric design and road signage. Following this, the budgets corresponding to each type of pavement will be formulated, which will be compared to choose the best alternative that offers a pavement that works effectively, safely and that is economically viable at the time of carrying out the project with the purpose of solve the problem that afflicts this community
