This report deals with the design of an electrical substation of 5 MVA, 20/1 O kV, 60 Hz for the Mineral Dock project planned for a maximum design capacity of 2300 TMPH of copper, lead and zinc mineral concentrate. The report shows the situation of the electrical installations of the mineral dock and under this panorama an electrical substation of 5 MVA at 20 KV is designed and implemented. The report develops the calculations and sizing of the electrical substation. In which the installed power, maximum demand, conductor calculation, short circuit calculation, equipment sizing, adjustment calculation far protective equipment, grounding calculation, lighting calculation, torced ventilation calculation, sizing ot fire detection system, electrical SCADA control system, emergency system sizing and electrical room sizing.
