The main objective of this professional proficiency work was to obtain improvements in the design of the shotcrete using the hyperplasticizing additive Glenium TC-1300 with the purpose of reducing the volumes of shotcrete used for the rehabilitation of the maintenance of mining works. For this, early support resistance tests were carried out befare and after the modification, using a needle penetrometer and a Hilti gun. The results showed that the shotcrete design with GLENIUM TC hyperplasticizing additive achieves a 4-hour resistance higher than the shotcrete with Rheobuild plasticizing additive in a proportion of 47%. For its part, the vol u me of modified shotcrete u sed in the rehabilitation works, in 2015, turned out to be less than the volume of shotcrete with the previous design, representing a decrease of 37%. lt was concluded that, by replacing the Rheobuild 1000 plasticizer additive with the GLENIUM TC -1300 hyperplasticizer, an improvement in the early strength of the shotcrete was obtained.
