This thesis is oriented to the industrial sector, specifically to the transport of material with dump trucks from one point to another point; It is a research that has a quantitative approach, descriptive scope, and the design is of the experimental type. As for this, it is carried out in an underground mining company, specifically in the unitary operation of transporting ore with dump trucks from inside the mine to the crusher. In summary, what you want to achieve based on the research carried out is to analyze a digital structured data base which is collected in the field through the operational reports carried out by the dump truck operators, the extraction times and movements are collected. It is important to highlight that based on this data analysis and the important contribution of the operators, it is possible to analyze two indicators that are the basis of study in the present investigation, the mechanical availability and the productivity that is equivalent to the metric tons transported per trip. . Finally, in the year 2020, the increase in mechanical availability from 75% in the month of July to 80% in the month of August was obtained, also the productivity in that same year increased from 36.79 Tm/trip in September to 37.77 Tm/trip in October. Likewise, in the year 2021 the overload in the dump trucks decreased from 36.88 Tm/trip in June to 36.4 Tm/trip in July, then the mechanical availability increased from 87% in the month of June to 92% in the month of July of the same year.
