The present research work “Design of a Criticality-Based Preventive Maintenance Plan for Machinery at Cosapi S.A. in the Parque Eólico Punta Lomitas Project in lea, to Optimize its Production Process“ was initiated through an analysis of the equipment area’s situation in the project over nine months, from November 2021 to July 2022. This period encompassed the most relevant activities of the project under the supervision of the client ENGIE Energía Perú. The significance of this work lies in the evaluation of the specific yellow line equipment managed by Cosapi within the mentioned project. A diagnostic was performed using the Key Performance lndicator (KPI) for each month of operation and the associated costs during the same period per equipment. These were analyzed using the Pareto principie and Jack Knife diagram. This analysis facilitated the identification of critical machinery, for which a preventive maintenance plan is designed to enhance its production process at an affordable implementation cost. The aim is to ensure that the equipment meets the production requirements and expected performance in the assigned activities.
