This thesis focuses on publicizing the application of the Last Planner system as a planning method in the field of road infrastructure, in order to improve the programming process of the different project activities. The particularity of the method is planning in stages, it begins with master planning, then intermediate planning is carried out and finally weekly planning is carried out, the latter is called executable work inventory, which is activities with a high probability of being fulfilled. In turn, compliance with the weekly program was permanently verified with the indicator percentage of plan completed and with this the project's performance has been known. It is not enough to carry out the planning in a project to achieve its success, but rather, it has to be integrated with other tools to obtain good results in performance at the cost and time level, which is why in this thesis the monitoring and control has been carried out. with earned value tool, and through which it has allowed to permanently know deviations of actual cost, actual cost, planned cost and earned value. And the results obtained helped identify variables that impacted the utility of the project. In this thesis, a time study was also carried out using the value chain map with the purpose of diagnosing and determining productive and unproductive times, in addition, the demand for effective time to comply with the work schedule has been quantified. It has been corroborated with the real time of the cycle for a certain construction process, and thus, it has been possible to conclude, if the activity was executed at a lower or higher rate, in the case that the production rate is lower, it was verified in which of the transformation stations of the process fell delays.
