This professional sufficiency work deals with the quality control of the compacted layer with the light dynamic deflectometer (LWD) in sanitation networks, applied in the Pachacútec Potable Water and Sewerage Project Stage I, in the district of Ventanilla - Peru. The work of professional sufficiency is divided into five chapters, as detailed below: In chapter I, the introduction, description of the research problem, objectives, and research background on the use of LWD equipment in filling compaction control are presented. In chapter II, the literary review of the theories and concepts used in this research work is carried out, which were: soil compaction, physical properties of the soil, compaction quality control methods and description of the light dynamic deflectometer. In chapter III, the project where the present investigation was carried out is described. In chapter IV, the work procedure for the application of compaction quality control using the ELWD deformation module, measurement parameter of the LWD equipment, is proposed. A program of field tests with LWD is carried out in 70 locations in the project, from which field density data was obtained by the cone and sand method, values of deformation modulus by the LWD test and samples of soil material for be analyzed in the laboratory. The different types of soils of the project were found and the correlation between the deformation modulus of the LWD and the degree of compaction or relative density of the studied locations was calculated. In chapter V, a table of ELWD deformation modulus values was proposed to be used as a limit parameter of compacted layer quality control, the evaluation of compaction quality control with LWD in fillings of home connections was carried out and the results are shown. compaction control results through histograms of weekly control results by subcontractor. In the conclusions, the results of the implementation of compaction quality control using the ELWD deformation module are shown, better statistical control was obtained in the compaction processes of trench fills in sanitation networks; Because the LWD equipment provides test results quickly and the frequency of control tests is increased, which leads to an improvement in the quality control of compaction processes. The recommendations of the work present proposals to improve the research work. Finally, the bibliographical references and respective annexes with information that support the preparation of the work of professional sufficiency are attached.
