One of the big problems in the crude oil production process is the disposal of water; Given that production in the Peruvian jungle is characterized by a high percentage of water cut and due to environmental policies, laws and regulations, the treatment that must be followed is very complex and extremely expensive. For this, the drilling of a water injection well was proposed as an alternative and very effective solution to an evaporation pond and/or water treatment by another company that provides this service. But because the formation is damaged, it is where the acidification of the matrix is proposed as a solution to this problem. The objective of this Thesis is to carry out a detailed study to determine the type, concentration, and proportions of acids to be used, in order to obtain an optimal matrix acidification in sandstones in a water injection well. As the formation encounters detrimental materials that cause damage, such as migrating clays, organic and inorganic deposits, bacteria, etc., that were generated throughout the life of the well from drilling, completion, servicing and/or production , is that it is planned to carry out a matrix stimulation treatment that includes: acids, solvents and chemical treatments, to remove the damage and restore the natural permeability of the formation near the well, reducing the pressure necessary to inject the formation water.
