This research work is based on the study of the transport of embalmed water, product of the regrowth of a dam of a tailings, towards water intakes for subsequent agricultural consumption of the populations affected by the consumption of water from the mining industry on a large scale. Within the framework of the research, the equations that govern the transport of water are studied, such as the equations of conservation of mass, Bernoulli equation and conservation of energy. In addition, the energy loss effects of commercial accessories to the water transport system and their characteristics to be able to tolerate system pressures are described. In addition, it describes the problematic reality that justifies the need for a design of a water transport system to improve the irrigation of communities surrounding mining companies. This design complies with aspects of: operation and maintenance, detailing in the design of the system, as well as the operating parameters of the system. Based on the needs of the demands of the system, a transport system was proposed, having carried out the hydraulic analysis. With the results of the hydraulic analysis, the system of pipes and fittings that support the efforts of the transport system was selected. For hydraulic analysis and graphing, Excel and academic AutoCAD software were used. Finally, the results of the research were analyzed and the hypothesis was contrasted. Likewise, recommendations are made for control mechanisms to monitor the operation and maintenance of the water transport system.
