This report aims to describe the construction process of cisterns and pumping chamber for wastewater founded on a sandy soil with a high water table, which leads to having a procedure partly deviated from the conventional, where an improvement must be made. of the land to be able to execute the foundations, in addition to the pumping chamber, because it has a deeper foundation, the problem of the constant flow of groundwater from the water table must be solved, which must be derived to nearby drains, also because it is buried structures and wastewater storage, the concrete used was type V cement and w/c=0.45 ratio, this to guarantee the durability of the material against the aggressiveness of the soil and the chemical agents that the water that leaves has store, likewise the sealing of the joints between the foundation slab and the plates was carried out, as well as waterproofing. Inside and outside the structures, as a complement, metal covers are placed for the inspection entrances to the cisterns, covering this metal carpentry with epoxy paint resistant to the environmental conditions typical of the coast near the sea, as part of The final tests will be carried out the tightness test, which guarantees that the tanks are waterproof enough to contain the water that will be stored and processed in the new facilities of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) of the TALSA agro-industrial plant. Being a structure that was executed as part of an industry that is dedicated to agro-industrial production, it is important to know the problems that it has in Peru, and that must be addressed, so that the greatest beneficiary is the Peruvian farmer and not only the big companies in this sector.
