The objective of this work of professional sufficiency is to describe the calculations that have to be carried out to elaborate the detailed engineering of the electricity discipline of the project “Merrill & Crowe Process Plant of 24,000 TMPD - Tantahuatay”. The current work of professional sufficiency explain the methodology used to perform the sizing of conductors applying the recommendations and restrictions of the standard NFPA 70-2011 (National Electrical Code), the criteria for the selection of conduit pipe diameter and for the definition of the section of the cable trays using that standard. As a final product after the sizing of the electric cables, there are the drawings of single-line diagrams, which will be used to purchase the project boards and as the final product of the diameter selection the conduit pipes and definition of the section of The cable trays will have the plans of electrical pipelines, with which you can make the purchase of the materials and carry out the construction of the project “Merrill & Crowe Process Plant of 24,000 TMPD - Tantahuatay”.
