The project arises from the need to enter an automatic biochemical analyzer in the laboratory of a MINSA level II-2 hospital. For this, it was necessary to recondition an automatic biochemical analyzer that was in the company's workshop, which required a complete maintenance of its mechanical, electronic, optical, and fluidic system. To do this, the general condition of the equipment had to be reviewed first, for which a visual inspection and test was carried out with the service software. Once the condition of the equipment was diagnosed, the maintenance of the equipment parts was carried out, in which the change of some spare parts and cleaning of the optical part was also carried out. In the replacement of spare parts, the belts and sensors were changed. In the case of the optical system, a complete cleaning of the optical bench was carried out and for the fluidic system, the tubes were changed. For the verification of the mechanical and electronic system, the demo mode in the service software is used. For the verification of the optical system, the photometry test is carried out in the service software, and finally, for the verification of operation, repetitions of the Glucose and ALT tests were carried out with the level I and II controls, to find the coefficient of variation. The three verifications gave good results, with which it was possible to proceed with the installation of the equipment in the laboratory of the MINSA level II-2 Hospital. With the reconditioning of the equipment, it was possible to ensure a good operation in the laboratory and in this way, setbacks were avoided at the customer.
