The Management of Higher Educational Infrastructure Works, frequently, presents problems during execution, when developing the Project Management in a traditional and instrumental way. In addition, the knowledge acquired in each project is lost in most cases, since there is no structured methodology to manage the knowledge acquired in each one of them. Through the good practices carried out within an organization, a large amount of knowledge is generated. This, in many cases, can be used for the same organization in a future project. In most cases, this knowledge is not documented or stored somewhere in the organization, remaining only in the memory of the people who experienced it and more if it is not used periodically. In this regard, this research work proposed good practices, through an Infrastructure Works Management Methodology, which allowed higher education companies, in the private sector, an optimal result in their projects. Optimal is understood to be anything that meets four characteristics: (i) that the economic result is within what was planned; (ii) that the result of the time and timely delivery is met; (iii) that the project meets the quality required by the client and (iv) that the project submits all documentation for start-up. Likewise, this methodology was implemented under parameters of compliance with international standards in Project Management, in this case aligned with the Project Management Institute (PMI), as well as the PRINCE2 Methodology, which currently serves as guidance and orientation in the functions of all members of an organization. In this sense, the present research aimed to present a Methodology for the Management of Infrastructure Works, which allows higher education companies, in the private sector, an optimal result in their projects. Finally, the result of the study specified that the implementation of the aforementioned methodology, allowed to meet the objectives of the Educad company, because it benefited the collaborators of the Infrastructure area, since they were able to standardize the procedures within the organization, through the compilation of field information, as well as the good practices of the panel of experts for continuous improvement in the execution of future projects.
