This evaluation presents alternatives to improve responses times of results over the procedure of the traditional processing mineral samples, this depends of the equipment and machines of each metallurgical laboratory from the different mining units. Every mining operation requires metallurgical tests to monitor and improve the performance of the benefit plants, this present work evaluates improvements for mineral processing because there are work campaigns with big quantities of samples to process and client wants results as soon as possible maintaining established procedures and the quality of work. In this evaluation the mineral processing will be assisted by equipment and machines that abbreviate the times of results, also the granulometric analysis results in milling stage where it is required that the works represent the total sample. For this, equipment such as the homogenizer machine and rotary divider were calibrated in mechanical sample preparation stage, the procedure for the granulometric analysis was also modified, dispensing with the filtering and drying of the milled sample and making a deslamed in pulp after the quartering of the samplehaving emphasis with the percentage of solids and the weight of the quartered pulp, the different Excel trend lines were finally used to find the milling time where the important particles are optimally released. With these improvements were possible to process more mineral samples, reducing the ergonomic and fatigue inconveniences that were generated before this evaluation, the responses times of results were reduced, and the repetitions in milling stage of the samples were also reduced due to a low coefficient of correlation because only the linear model was used.
