Instituto gastronómico del Rímac

Abstract

La presente investigación comprende la concepción, y el desarrollo del proyecto denominado el Instituto Gastronómico del Rímac, el cual es una obra que se adhiere a una intención de regeneración urbana conmemorando a la vez el Bicentenario de la Independencia del Perú. Queda expuesto en este documento el procedimiento empleado para responder a un problema de la ciudad con un elemento arquitectónico. Se realiza una búsqueda por la comprensión de la zona de intervención en todas sus dimensiones: física, histórica, simbólica, social, cultural, etc. Al haber reconocido los diferentes marcos en los que se insertará el proyecto, se procede a desarrollar las características generales del proyecto, funciones, ambientes, dimensiones. De esta manera se procede a desarrollar un concepto de intervención, donde se plasmará toda la información recopilada y generada junto a las intenciones que tiene la propuesta arquitectónica. La propuesta generada busca ser un hito y eso se logra a través de la puesta en valor de un elemento de valor patrimonial, y la adecuación al entorno por contraste del proyecto en su conjunto. Se explora a la vez un modo de intervención dentro de una zona considerada como paisaje urbano monumental, que permita la sostenibilidad del elemento de valor patrimonial y su significado. Se combina las funciones de educación y comercio, siguiendo las recomendaciones y normas establecidas. Y el diseño corresponde a lo requerido para esta tipología a nivel nacional e internacional.

The present investigation shows the conception and the development of the Project called Rimac’s Gastronomic Institute, that borns with the intention of a urban regeneration in the bicentennial of the independence of Peru. This document exposes the steps in order to respond a problem in the city with an architectonic element. Here is a search to understand the scenery where the building develops itself, in all dimensions: physic, historic, symbolic, social and cultural. When the different environments, where the project will be insert, have been recognized, it is time to develop the general terms of the project: related with function and dimensions that are necessary. In this way, the concept appears, as the idea that contains all the urban and architectonic intentions. The project must be an icon, and that is what it is, because it shows a new way to expose the typology that has Rimac’s urban monumental landscape. Furthermore, there is a search of a way to design in an urban monumental landscape, that makes a sustainable heritage that dialogues with the intervention. The project contains spaces for education and commerce, following recommendations and established standard, so the design corresponds to what is required for this typology in Perú and in the world.
