The objective of this thesis work is to propose a business planning based on the Lean Construction system, which can be used for each project of medium-sized construction companies in the Cusco Region and in this way, they can improve their competitiveness. The document is divided into six chapters; Firstly, an introduction is presented which shows an analysis of the construction sector at Peru and Cusco level, indicating its structure and the composition of its markets, highlighting the importance of public investment for the development of these companies; in chapter one the problems, hypotheses, objectives and variables of the investigation are exposed. Chapter two is made up of the theoretical framework, the appearance and evolution of Lean Construction (Construction without Losses), its relationship with quality systems and its philosophy, taking as a reflection that the tools “read“ are supportive and their objective is to improve the productivity of companies. Chapter three presents the results of surveys and interviews carried out with a sample of 30 entrepreneurs in the sector, in which the level of planning they carry out for each project, risk analysis, review and systematization of information, control and monitoring is measured safety and hygiene, as well as the use of continuous improvement policies. In chapter four, the analysis and discussion of the hypothesis is made, getting to validate it. In chapter five, a planning system is proposed for each project, based on protocols and lean formats, taking into account that the philosophy is based on having a work flow without delays and losses, and that all planning must be participatory, mainly involving the areas of management, production and logistics. Finally, the conclusions and recommendations of this work are presented.
