The present work carries out a diagnosis, analysis and a solution proposal to optimize and automate the statistical reports made by the Fiscal Productivity Control Office (OCPF), whose function is to generate said reports and management reports on a daily basis and periodically, which serve for the decision-making of the fiscal and administrative staff of the Public Ministry at the national level, therefore, it is proposed to implement a Datawarehouse as a Business Intelligence (BI) solution, which manages to integrate the different sources of information that the institution has, creating a unified repository from which multiple statistical reports can be extracted. In addition, a web application is being developed that will progressively implement automatic reports using the Ralph Kimball methodology and which will have the Datawarehouse as a data source. Finally, this work seeks to apply Business Intelligence technologies using free software, such as the PostgreSQL database engine and/or paid services such as the Sybase ETL tool, which is the database engine currently used by the Public Ministry., thus being a feasible solution for the institution.
