The objective of the investigation is to improve the extraction system at level 160 Coveted Zone of Compañía Minera Quiruvilca SA, for which the implementation of a new Infrastructure made up of a Bypass and the rehabilitation of Chimneys will be proposed, thereby increasing the productivity and reduce extraction costs in this area. The Bypass will serve to perform the extraction in parallel with the main gallery of the NV. 160 and the chimneys, will be used for the extraction of the upper levels. In principle, an analysis has been carried out of the causes that would positively and negatively affect the extraction in the area, in the same way the taking of time which is a variable that influences the reduction of costs and increase of production. The calculation of the Capex - Opex for the design of the Bypass, with the principle of Trade off for the recovery of the investment cost and the design of the chimneys, has been considered. In chapter III, we mention the research method, the techniques and instruments to collect the information, the delimitations, the social relevance, feasibility of the research scope and delimitation. In the development of the work we mention, the location, the geological part, exploitation methods and mining sequence. In Chapter IV, analysis of research results is carried out through continuous improvement tools, such as Foda, Pareto diagram, Cause - effect diagram and operational management. In the same way, a mining approach, equipment requirement, material extraction design, the optimization proposal to reduce extraction costs - Trade off, the contrast of volume hypothesis and extraction optimization are carried out. Finally, with the new Infrastructure, it has been possible to increase the fines by 35%, the yield of man tons increased by 52% (from 8.31 t / h to 12.6 t / h), also the production volume increased by 35% and managed to reduce the cost of extraction from 4.5 US $ / t to 0.89 US $ / t, generating a saving of 3.61 US $ / t, corresponding to 80.22% of the initial cost. The Net Present Value (NPV) of the project generated a profit of $ 6,706.14, the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) that the project yields is 3% and the Benefit / Cost Ratio or Profitability Index (IR) that measures how much value it is. Created to make the investment, a result of 1.15 was obtained, it also improved the performance measurement indicators, obtaining values of 66% for Efficiency, 100% Efficacy and 66% Effectiveness.
