Tuberculosis is the seventh leading cause of death in the world. One third of the world population is infected with tuberculosis disease by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, which has developed resistance mechanisms against various first and second-line drugs that were extremely difficult to treat. This paper presents the synthesis of Fe (II) and Co (II) metal complex with a hybrid of two first-line anti-tuberculosis drugs: isoniazid (INH) and pyrazinamide (PZA), which are still unknown in the scientific literature, with the purpose of enhancing the antituberculosis activity of both drugs. First a full, the hybrid of the two drugs (INH and PZA) was obtained experimental, subsequently the complexes of Fe (II) and was obtained Co (II), and determined the antituberculosis. Characterization of the hybrid agrees with the literature. Characterization of the metal complexes was performed by elemental analysis, infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), Raman spectroscopy, UV-Vis spectroscopy, 1H and 13C nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, conductivity. and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), showing that the desired complexes were obtained. Biological activity assays are performed using the TEMA Susceptibility Method in pyrazinamide and isoniazid metal complexes and their precursor sales, where the cobalt complex and the hybrid showed antituberculosis activity.
