The need for well-designed sanitary infrastructure projects includes the determination of basic design parameters such as the coefficients of variation of daily and hourly water consumption. The National Building Regulations and SEDAPAL's Technical Regulations for Projects recommend values of the variation coefficients must be supported by statistical analysis and in the absence of analyzable data, the value of 1.3 should be considered as the daily variation coefficient and the coefficient of hourly variation in a range of 1.8 to 2.5, which when applied generates an oversizing or undersizing of sanitary infrastructures components. The objective of this research was to determine the daily coefficient of variation (K1) and the hourly variation coefficient (K2) for the Los Olivos district using data from the study area and in this way to be able to count on design parameters that we allow having properly designed health infrastructures for the study area. in addition, the behavior of the same coefficients was verified considering the COVID-19 pandemic influence. Due to the configuration of the hydraulic sectors, a suitable non-probabilistic sampling was carried out, establishing selection criteria. Once the sectors had been selected, the hourly volume records recorded by the SCADA system were analyzed, establishing a new data treatment methodology by detecting outlier data or atypical data and their subsequent correction by forecasting data using means mobile numbers of order 30, achieving a reduction in the error generated by water stockouts in the sectors analyzed and thus obtaining for the district of Los Olivos, the daily coefficient of variation K1 is 1,222 and the coefficient of variation K2 schedule is 1,595.
