This report describes the development of the access network performance improvement project using Massive MIMO (Multiple Input, Multiple output) technology in the base stations of the operators' LTE TDD mobile network, which generates the increase in capacity of the LTE TDD cell currently used by the operator for fixed wireless services. This solution is necessary because the access networks present a low performance of the indicators (DL / UL-Downlink and Uplink) in their mobile cells LTE-TDD (Long Term Evolution-Time Division Duplex), this is verified in the low-speed test values given the increase in data service demand. The purpose of the project is to demonstrate that the resources in the access networks of the main operators2 can be used efficiently, thus obtaining the improvement of the throughput indicators (DL / UL) of the LTE-TDD cell, using the same bandwidth. (BW) that is configured in the operators. For the development of the project, a prior technical study was carried out in order to verify the use of the frequency spectrum and verify the optimal conditions of the place to implement the solution equipment. Finally, the solution provided with Massive MIMO technology is concluded to considerably improve the performance of the LTE-TDD mobile cell compared to other traditional mobile access technologies, in addition to optimizing installation times in telecommunications towers.
