The present work of professional sufficiency consists of supplying electrical energy to the pumping equipment of a cistern from which drinking water is re-pumped to a reservoir from which the drinking water service will be provided to the populations of the high areas of the Bayóvar human Settlement of the district of San Juan de Lurigancho, province of Lima. This paper tries to define and describe the electrical installations to be implemented, executed and the commissioning of a medium voltage underground line and a transformation substation. The installation consists of the laying of an underground medium voltage line from the measurement point PMI, located in the support of an overhead network at 20 kV (initial operation 10 kV), owned by the electricity distribution company, to the substation SAB located inside of the property where the cistern is located. Medium voltage utilization systems are necessary from a certain maximum power demand, they have the advantage of having more reliable electrical energy, of better quality and lower price.
