The purpose of this research is to identifythe disergonomic risk factors and their influence over the level of occupational risk on correct maintenance of drinking water and wastewater system. This studytook place in a contractor company which provides service to SEDAPAL. This study was carried out at an operating base of the contractor company that has 59 workers, where the study took place on the activities carried out by the contractor's operators defined in the contract bases established by the SEDAPAL client. In the research, the Cornell questionnairewas used to know the perception of musculoskeletal discomfort by the operators, in addition, the identification of the disergonomic risks of the tasks that make up the corrective maintenance activities of the drinking water and sewerage systems was contemplated. This through the “key questions” followed by the “fast test” according to the ISO / TR 12295: 2014 standard, based on these results the risk assessment is performed according to the ISO 11228 and ISO 11226 standards. In the Cornell questionnaire, 61% of the operators presented a perception of musculoskeletal discomfort in the lower back, followed by discomfort in the neck with 31% and discomfort in the upper back with 25%. The dysergonomic risk factors identified were: forced postures and manual handling of loads. These influence over the level of occupational risk, making the level of risk significant. Finally, improvements are proposed for the implementation in the contractor company with the coordination with the client SEDAPAL since it involves investment. The proposed improvementsare: a mechanical arm with click on the trucks, use of drills with circular bits of various diameters, equipment for pipe rasping, supports for the pipe with adjustable height, equipment to open drain mailbox covers and change of concrete materials for thermoplastic materials that are lighter which is allowed for the technical specifications of SEDAPAL, in the particular case of registration boxes and control boxes.
