The work carried out was developed in the company Industrias Manrique SAC in the footwear sector. In it, a diagnosis was made and opportunities for improvement were identified in relation to the production process of its industrial footwear lines. The purpose of this work is to put into practice the studies acquired, based on experience using the mechanisms that contribute to increasing productivity in this industrial footwear company. For its solution, it was investigated about the different theories related to the analysis of processes, time study, production capacity, then an analysis of the sector and a diagnosis of the company was carried out to more clearly identify the impact of its problems. The company has three production lines: Good Year Welt Tiling, Direct Cut Vulcanization and Pu Injection System, our object of study will be based on the first production line. Finally, it was proposed as a subject of study “Increasing productivity through line balance in an industrial footwear company of the Good Year Welt type using Lean Manufacturing tools“, through it, it will be intended to support the production planning process of this company, in order to avoid the risks of order delivery delays, dead times, inventories in processes and others that are generated as a result of not applying this issue methodologically. An increase in productivity was achieved in the Good Year Welt assembly section from 3,398 pairs / H-h to 5,096 pairs / H-h which represents 49.97%, reaching the expected production in the required time. In the same way, the performance of the operator in the bottleneck is improved, increasing the efficiency of the line from 78.10% to 96.79%.
