In the oil industry, there has always been the need to reduce costs in both maintenance and operation of systems, and to seek new alternatives for greater production, at lower costs, makes jet-type hydraulic pumping a necessary and required Artificial Lifting system in the region, from this point of view the importance of knowing the multiple applications of the Hydraulic Jet Pump. In this work of professional sufficiency, the objective is to increase the economic profitability of oil wells using jet-type hydraulic pumping as artificial lift. Artificial Production Systems (SAP) are a set of mechanisms that are installed inside the well in order to provide an external source of energy when it can no longer produce by its own means or when it is required to increase production. The SAP most applied worldwide are Pneumatic Pumping (BN), Mechanical Pumping (BM), Submerged Electro centrifugal Pumping (BEC), Progressive Cavity Pumping (PCP), Hydraulic Pumping (BH) and Traveling Plunger. The BH is a SAP whose use has grown in recent years, where its use was quite scarce. The BH offers great operating flexibility and is a relatively inexpensive system compared to those previously mentioned, making it attractive when considering a SAP to be installed in a well that requires it. The present work also aims to present the most important advances that the oil industry has had in Jet Hydraulic Pumping, so that it can be considered as a technically viable option when evaluating artificial production systems in wells that present characteristics similar to those exposed at work.
