The purpose of this research was to determine the geological characteristics of the deposit of carbonated rocks in the Ondores district to evaluate its industrialization. The deposit is in the Junín region, Yauli province, Ondores district, where approximately 0.6 km2 were recognized and delimited. This area was determined by superimposing different maps: regional geology, satellite image, chemical analysis and those prepared during field activities. In the study area, three columns were located transversely to the strata of carbonate rocks for stratigraphic characterization. During the process, rock chip channels with their respective description took samples. The samples taken were petrographic studies and chemical analysis. Then, with the studies carried out and, in the field, the stratigraphic correlation was carried out to define the economic potential of the outcrop of these carbonate rocks. In the thesis, an economic potential greater than 31 Mtn was estimated for the construction, agriculture, and environmental protection sectors. Estimating its exploitation for more than 100 years. In conclusion, the possibilities of its use are in the construction, mining, agriculture, and environmental protection sectors.
