In the follow thesis, the structural design of the superstructure of nine two-lane metal bridges was carried out, for a span range of 40 to 120 meters with a Warren type truss system according to the MTC-2016 bridge manual. These bridges have the characteristic of being easily transported to the works, they can be assembled and placed in a short time by personnel with basic knowledge, and it is not necessary to use high-tech machinery to carry it out, requiring a minimum of routine maintenance after its execution. For this reason, they are considered of great importance in the road network, being very useful to have the information of the designs for the different lengths. In this thesis, the metal truss bridges were modeled and analyzed with specialized software, after which the design of the trusses and decks was verified by applying the formulas provided in the MTC-2016 bridge manual. The structural elements that were designed are the following: Deck (concrete slab, beams and floor beams), truss (upper chord, lower chord and diagonals), entrance and exit portal (columns and beams) and connections in the structural elements (bolts, gussets and welds); considering dead, live and seismic loads. Finally, the rolled profiles of the structural elements and the weight of the steel were obtained, with this it was possible to obtain the manufacturing budget and thus fulfill the objective of this thesis, which is to provide a practical guide for preliminary designs of bridge superstructures with metallic truss Warren type.
