The present work of professional adequacy includes the application of methodologies and indicators for the control of time and costs in the construction of a zonal park. It is known that the purpose of this type of project is the recreation and leisure of the population attached to or near the location. All projects nowadays using new techniques and control methods force the different construction companies to use qualified labor and at the same time optimal and efficient processes that ensure the stability of the company to avoid economic problems (cost factor) and problems in time (time factor). When an engineering project is proposed, especially in the execution phase, the variables must be determined so that the desired objective is achieved, counting on tools that project management offers us, which become important to achieve the goals established. It is understood that the maximization of the benefits is sought both in time (duration) and in costs (expenses) so that they are as optimal as possible. Indicators such as productivity indexes, indicators derived from the “S“ curve, control of man-hours, monthly operating results are evaluated, with the sole purpose of being able to control the two study variables (cost and time). As for the contribution, all these basic engineering tools are considered in order to be able to carry out a control and later follow-up and/or rethinking for a maximization of the resources and to have a greater efficiency of the same ones.
