Through this document, the main musculoskeletal discomforts presented by workers in underground mining in the different areas where they work are analyzed. Critical positions were determined by areas, based on the results of the survey of 849 workers, the muscle areas that had the greatest Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) were analyzed, where it was shown that the muscular area that presented the greatest inconveniences is the lower back. Of the total of 102 respondents presented injuries and have medical treatment, while 747 surveys that present undiagnosed musculoskeletal discomfort with medical injury. The survey considers a scale of levels from 0 to 4 related to the frequency and intensity with which workers perceive musculoskeletal discomfort; where levels 3 and 4 are critical when requiring medication and / or medical treatment. The areas that presented positions with some level 04 musculoskeletal discomfort are: Mine, Concentrating Plant, Maintenance, Chemical Laboratory and Geology; while the areas that presented positions with level 03 musculoskeletal problems are: Environmental Affairs, Human Management, Engineering and Planning, Logistics and Projects. The positions that presented levels 3 and 4 are considered critical in this document. According to ACGIH, musculoskeletal disorders refers to chronic disorders of the muscles, tendons and nerves caused by repetitive stress, rapid movements, high forces, contact tensions, extreme postures, vibrations, low temperatures and psychosocial problems. Due to the aforementioned, the Disergonomic Risk Factors present in the development of activities were identified in the critical positions and their exposure level was evaluated through the IBV ergo method to determine if they are acceptable, unacceptable or moderate.
