The objective of the research is to evaluate the impact of geospatial information on the income of Local Governments and determine its impact on the execution of projects within the framework of land use planning that contribute to sustainable development, as objectives, the feasibility of increasing the budget for investment projects due to the increase of the property tax in Local Governments was demonstrated, demonstrating that the use of geospatial information in the Governments local impacts on the increase in the collection of property tax, which leads to increased execution of investment projects. The procedure to reach this objective is to know if in the municipalities at a national level it is viable the increase of the property taxes as a result of the implementation of the geospatial information in the territorial and cadastral ordering, because this would be important to increase the budget for the execution of investment projects. The meticulous evaluation of each of the objectives allowed to obtain results that conclude that it is viable to increase the budget for investment projects due to the increase of property taxes due to the use of geospatial information in Local Governments. Likewise, geospatial information will allow municipalities to sustainably manage their renewable natural resources and the search for equity and social inclusion that, in sum, will grant a high quality of life to the population of a given territory, as well as planning. And the projection of cities due to demographic growth, using land use planning that will allow them to minimize vulnerabilities, avoiding risks in the face of natural disasters, so that they can cover their basic needs efficiently. With an adequate management of geospatial information, the municipalities will be strengthened; because the financial resources will increase for all. The result of the investigation showed that there is an increase in property income by having geospatial information in the cadastral projects, therefore the sustainable development of local governments is increased due to the increase of own resources to execute investment projects in their locality.
