This research aims to significantly reduce pollutants in compressed air by evaluating technologies to improve the quality of medicinal oxygen produced in a plant by the adsorption method. These pollutants affect the efficiency and useful life of the adsorbent component used in adsorption oxygen generating equipment, influencing the cleanliness and purity of medicinal oxygen, which should not have a purity lower than 93% neither polluting substances to be considered medicinal gas. A methodology with a quantitative approach of correlational scope and a non-experimental design was proposed. The development of the research was based on the collection of data from equipment used in a typical adsorption medicinal oxygen factory located in the city of Pucallpa, in Peru. Subsequently, the information was processed using calculators online that estimated the level of contamination by condensate and oil in the compressed air used in the analysis unit. According to the measurements made, the evidence found and the calculations made, the research hypothesis is decided as accepted, confirming that the application of new technologies will reduce pollutants in compressed air, influencing a better quality of medicinal oxygen produced by the adsorption method.
