The purpose of the study is to analyze and optimize ventilation activity in the mining cycle, in order to eliminate fatal accident and incapacitated by gassing, see Annex 2.2 Gas Accident Chart. Calculations of compliance with fresh air needs are made (workers, equipment, dilution of pollutants and extreme temeperatures) in the production stope, deepening ramps, by passes, xcuts and lower levels of preparation, with which security is achieved, coupled with compliance with safety regulations: Reglamento de Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional en Minería aprobado por Decreto Supremo N° 024- 2016-EM y sus Modificatorias del Decreto Supremo N° 023- 2017-EM (en adelante, RSSO). The study focuses on the analysis of the ventilation of various types of mining, in order to optimize the ventilation system of any mine, increasing worker and equipment efficiency. Infrastructure is shown such com: raise borer, drift and stope for air movement, adequate installations, plugs, curtains and canvas duct ventilation, that minimize the risk of exposure to harmful gases. Faults and associated costs are also shown. The use of models based on the application of ventilation software is explained, such as Ventsim and Vnet in ventilation planning, mine modeling is done, simulating and calibrating the ventilation circuit and optimizing the ventilation system and its costs to apply them on site.
