In this research was analyzed a methodology to forecast of a field highly heterogenous according to uncertainty associated to petroleum production. This uncertainty exists in subsurface, surface, and environmental on the field¸ these uncertainties affect both the implementation and de executing of projects. With the advancement of technology, costs were reduced for reservoir simulation studies, and now this technology and its associated techniques are accessible to a growing technical public; However, it was not applied to the Peruvian Northwest, because there is no specific literature in the public domain. Possibly for being mature fields or marginal fields. The main objective is to carry out the uncertainty analysis by applying numerical simulation under the probabilistic modality, in such a way that decision-making is achieved that optimizes development. productive from the mature fields of the Northwest of Peru. The data used was for a real case of Talara, the BOAST simulator was applied, a history marching was obtained with the real data, and ending with obtaining the probabilistic forecast. According to the analysis carried out, it was concluded that it is feasible to determine with a high level certainty the forecast from oil wells.
