The current thesis entitled “Influence of investment projects of the business sector on the demand for technical professionals, within the scope of SENATI, Zonal Lima-Callao, period 2014-2017“, it has been proposed to investigate the following possible relationship: that investment projects influence the employment opportunities of technical professionals. SENATI has been taken as a “case study”, as a non-probabilistic sample, since there is no access to complete information of the higher level technical education institutions located in Lima and Callao, due to the lack of an integrated system of information on the current reality of technicians, and support for research processes in the different productive sectors, regarding the demand for technicians associated with investment projects In this context, SENATI was chosen, for this study, because the educational institution has your information and internet access organized: magazines, reports, newsletters and job board electronically and, has a dynamic link with the business sector, whose graduates emerge of the companies that maintain “mutual aid agreements” for the development of their capacities within the “dual learning” model. However, the information found is limited for the purpose of this study, only for five (5) years, with no statistics from previous years. The secondary source is complemented by studies of occupational demand, from the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion, also referring to the period from 2013 to 2017. The design of non-experimental research, essentially descriptive and with some exploratory advances, is approached. This is complemented by comments from specialists, magazines and documentation that supports the lack of supply of technicians in the country. The statistical result of the thesis concludes, a gap problem of approximately 4,100 technicians annually. The intervention of the rest of the higher level technical educational institutions located in Lima-Callao is presumed to cover the entrepreneur's needs to require technical professionals in the investment projects.
