Abstract: La presente tesis de investigación trató de evaluar principalmente la eficiencia de remoción de los coliformes termotolerantes, cuando el agua residual del efluente de un reactor UASB es sometido a un tratamiento con gas ozono. Así como evaluar el cumplimiento del requerimiento microbiológico del Decreto Supremo N° 004-2017-MINAM, referido al ítem de coliformes termotolerantes para el riego no restringido (parques públicos y áreas verdes) de la categoría 3.
La metodología de trabajo empleado, consistió en el monitoreo del tratamiento de muestras extraídas del efluente del reactor UASB, durante 5 meses, que fueron sometidas al tratamiento con tres dosificaciones de gas ozono. Y se midieron los parámetros físicos, químicos, bioquímicos y microbiológicos, antes y después del tratamiento. Finalmente se evaluó dicho tratamiento y la transferencia de gas ozono al agua residual durante el tratamiento en el reactor tipo Bach que se usó para la investigación.
La investigación obtuvo como resultados el tiempo de tratamiento necesario y la dosificación adecuada del gas ozono para las muestras del efluente del reactor UASB. Para lograr reducir la carga bacteriana según lo establecido en el Decreto Supremo N° 004-2017-MINAM, referido al ítem de coliformes termotolerantes para el riego no restringido (parques públicos y áreas verdes) de la categoría 3.
This research thesis is about the evaluating of the removal efficiency of thermotolerant coliforms when the residual water of the UASB reactor effluent was treated with ozone gas. As well as to evaluate the fulfillment of the microbiological requirement of the Supreme Decree N ° 004-2017-MINAM, referred to the item of thermotolerant coliform for the unrestricted irrigation (public parks and green areas) of the category 3. The work methodology employed consisted of monitoring the treatment of samples extracted from the UASB reactor effluent, for 4 months. These samples were treated with ozone. And the physical, chemical, biochemical and microbiology parameters were measured before and after the treatment. Finally, this treatment was evaluated and the capacity of transference of ozone gas to waste water during the treatment in the Bach reactor, used in the investigation. The investigation obtained as a result the time necessary for the treatment and the adequate dosage of the ozone for the UASB reactor effluent samples.
