The objective of this research work is to verify whether, within the disorder that occurred in the execution of said Program, as a result of its exemption from the SNIP, there was something redeemable in the educational field, supposedly the raison d'être of the intervention; In particular, we want to verify the thesis that the budget increase that was in the items by Operation and Maintenance had an impact on the Academic Performance of students belonging to these educational institutions in the years 2009 to 2015. To develop the present investigation, the quantitative approach has been chosen, with a descriptive and correlational analysis and a longitudinal non-experimental design. A sample of 15 emblematic schools is analyzed, using the dependent variable Academic Performance and as independent variables Investment by Operation and Investment by Maintenance. To verify the normality of the sample data, the Shapiro – Wilk test was applied, and the Eviews computer tool for data analysis: time series type and this analysis was corroborated using the panel data model (included as annexed). It is concluded by confirming that in the period of time covered by the investigation, the hypothesis has been proven, finding that effectively the 2 independent variables have a direct, positive and statistically significant impact on Academic Performance.
