This research aims to design and implement smart muscle sensors for application in transradial muscle prostheses. The designed sensors include dry electrodes in a bipolar configuration; the encapsulation uses additive manufacturing. The processing and conditioning of the signal allows obtaining a signal between 20 and 500 Hz with an SNR of 33.3 dB. Likewise, the sensors are validated in three users who made different types of grips in a transradial prosthesis with an average performance of 95.8%. The results obtained in the present investigation allow us to give a preliminary validation to the in-house developed sensors for their subsequent application in pre-clinical and clinical tests.
