In the last years, the number of accidents occurred front Peruvian’s coasts have been increasing, one of this type of accidents is related stability issues. As everyone knows fishing represents the sector with the rate of occupational accidents higher, considering fishing the sector more dangerous around the world. The safety of fishing vessels is connected directly with Stability criteria propose in International Code of Torremolinos, however this criterion does not analyses stability failure as Parametric Roll, Pure Loss of Stability, Surf-Riding/Broaching and Dead Ship Condition, letting a gap in fishing vessels security. Despite in the last decades the IMO has been trying to implement technical criteria, it is in 2005 with the development of the secondgeneration intact stability criteria that the IMO desires to upgrade the measure intact stability using a new criterion. In this sense, in this thesis it is have been a number code, where include the IMO the second-generation intact stability criteria, that analyses failure modes of fishing vessels. Also, the number results of the different fishing vessels of Peruvian fleet will be presented.
