The agitation systems are a unit operation of great importance present in each of the industries, for this reason, they have been the subject of studies for various investigations in order to make continuous improvements, being used to mix food products, inks, paints, preparation of polymers, among others. This research was based on the design of a system of agitation for the agribusiness sector with a slight inclination of 15 °, which allows to reduce the generation of vortices by 50%, this being verified by means of a simulation carried out in the SOLIDWORKS program. In order to carry out the design of the equipment, bases and design criteria to be followed were established, in addition to raising the necessary considerations for the selection of the drive system evaluating the advantages that the selected equipment will have. Once the technical feasibility of the proposed industrial agitator was determined, an economic evaluation was made requesting various quotes from a traditional agitator with technical specifications equal to the proposed agitator, the cost price for the manufacture of the improvement system is USD 2,032.00, making a comparison with The quotes received are that the agitation system is economically feasible by 60%, using this system in the agribusiness sector will optimize the process.
