This work defines the characteristics of the control and telecommunications system of the new Paita Industrial substation in Piura at definitive engineering level, level required to execute the construction of the project, which includes the interconnection to the ENOSA SCADA system, a company in charge of the execution of the project. The construction of the Paita Industrial substation has been approved in the investment planning of transmission (2017-2021) and this work is part of the definitive study of the project, a necessary study for the project construction, and developed by PRICONSA, following the norms, standards and active procedures. This work contains an overview of the scope of the equipment to be implemented in the new substation, then the elements that will be integrated into the control and telecommunications system will be defined, as well as the characteristics of such system and its connection to the existing adjacent substations (Paita substation and the El Tablazo thermal power plant). Finally, the equipment to be implemented in each substation will be determined and it will be verified that the functions of the system are working properly; furthermore, its technical characteristics and considerations for its installation will be defined. The costs and schedule for the execution of the project will then be defined, and the letters of agreement of definitive study, as well as the pre-operation study of the project, and the calculation of the number of signals planned to be integrated will be presented.
