Currently in the Uchucchacua Mine there is a fleet of 09 low profile trucks (Dumpers), which carry out the transport of ore from the lower levels of the mine (level 3710 and 3780) where the production pits are concentrated and the 95 % of mine preparation and operation work, to the main Pique Master landings located at level 3990 for surface elevation (level 4450) and subsequent transportation with the main extraction locomotives of 120 tms capacity per trip to destination final to the Primary Crushing Zone belonging to the Metallurgical Processing Plant or when there is no discharge capacity, to the Mineral Stock Zone. The planning of the distribution of the 09 low-profile trucks in the interior of the mine is carried out according to the volume of ore to be extracted at each level of the mine, which is defined at the beginning of each month in the production program and Monthly equipment distribution program, as shown below: • 05 trucks carry out the transfer of ore from level 3710, moving through the Ramp 626-1 to the pitches of level 3990 of the Pique Master, passing through level 3780 • 04 trucks carry out the transfer of ore from level 3780, moving through Ramp 626-1 to the pitches of level 3990 of Pique Master The real capacity of transport per trip of these trucks of low profile is of 15.1 tms and daily they must reach a total production of 3,800 tms of silver ore, having to make between 26 and 31 trips each of them (depending on the point of origin of ore extraction) to achieve this daily goal. In order to comply with the production and advancement programs, we intend to implement 21 tms trucks, with this thesis we compare the dumpers with the dump trucks.
