The present thesis entitled: Incidence rate and somatotype in workers of a service workshop "Taller" specialized repair vehicle maintenance company located in Surco’s district – Lima – Perú was carried out with the purpose of determining if the incidence rate of injuries and illnesses is related with the somatotype of the workers, through the components: Endomorphy, Mesomorphy and Ectomorphy. The fifteen (15) workers, who work in the workshop were evaluated, using: the form of information and informed consent, the anthropometric measures file, the guidelines of Norton and Olds (2005), ISAK (2001) and ISAK (2011) for the development of anthropometric measurements, the calculation and location of the somatotype in Carter's somatochart (2002), the calculation of incidence rate OSHA (2011) and statistical level of correlation described by Mondragón (2014). The results show that the incidence rate is inversely proportional with the endomorphy and with the ectomorphy it is directly proportional, whereas with the mesomorphy the relationship evaluated is not significant. Likewise, ectomorphy is inversely proportional with endomorphy and mesomorphy while the relationship between endomorphy and mesomorphy is not significant. The somatotype for this population of workers is endomorphic mesomorph and has the following components: endomorphy = 3.65 ± 1.04, mesomorphy = 5.25 ± 1 and ectomorphy = 1.37 ± 1.06
